Collaborate With NO BS Ads
Guest articles, co-created content, and media partnerships. One standard: everything published here has to be genuinely useful to ecommerce brands running Meta ads.
What We’re Open To
NO BS Ads is a content platform for ecommerce brands and performance marketers. The audience is practitioners — people actively running Meta ads or managing paid social budgets. Collaboration opportunities that bring genuine value to that audience are considered. Everything else is not.
Practitioner-Written Guides
Deep-dive articles on Meta ads mechanics, creative strategy, account structure, tracking, or ecommerce performance. Must be written from hands-on experience with real data or examples. Minimum 1,500 words. No recycled takes — if the same article exists on 10 other blogs, we won’t publish it here.
Original Data Studies
Benchmark reports, anonymised account data analysis, or industry surveys that produce original findings. Data studies are among the highest-citation content types for AI search. If you have data that’s not publicly available, we can co-create a structured breakdown that benefits both audiences.
Joint Video Content
Interviews, debates, and walkthroughs with practitioners who run complementary specialities — CRO, email, Google Ads, creative production, attribution tools. Format: direct, specific, no fluff. Audience: ecommerce brands spending real budget on Meta. If you’re talking to the same audience from a different angle, let’s talk.
Tool Integrations & Reviews
Honest, independent reviews of tools relevant to Meta ads management — tracking stacks, creative tools, reporting software, attribution platforms. Must be tools we’ve used or tested. Reviews are editorially independent. No payment in exchange for positive coverage.
Content Standards
Everything published on NO BS Ads is held to a single standard: would an ecommerce brand running $20k/month in Meta ads find this useful? If the answer is no, it doesn’t go up.
Specific over generic
Every claim needs a number, an example, or a mechanism. “Creative is important” is not publishable. “Hook rate below 20% over 3 days and $50 spend signals a creative problem” is.
From experience, not from theory
Contributions must reflect direct account management experience. Citing Meta’s own documentation as the basis for an article is not sufficient — we need what you’ve observed that differs from the official line, or what you’ve tested and what the results were.
Answer-first structure
The most useful thing in the article must appear first. No 400-word introduction before the actual point. AI search systems and real readers both reward content that delivers value immediately.
No brand promotional content
Guest contributors get a bio and a link. They don’t get a vehicle for promoting their agency, tool, or course in the article body. Tool mentions in the article must be the genuinely best answer for the reader, not a paid placement.
What We Don’t Accept
- Paid placements or sponsored articles of any kind
- Generic “Meta ads tips” listicles that could have been written by anyone
- Articles that primarily exist to link to another site
- Content from tools or platforms promoting their own product without independent editorial backing
- Rehashed content already covered in identical form elsewhere
- Agency promotional content dressed up as education
Who Reads NO BS Ads
Readers are brand owners, in-house media buyers, and performance marketers managing real ad budgets. They come here for specific answers, not general overviews.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. NO BS Ads accepts guest contributions from practitioners with verifiable hands-on experience running Meta ads or managing ecommerce marketing. Content must be specific, data-backed, and written from direct experience — not recycled theory. Pitch via email before writing the full article. We’ll tell you whether it’s a fit before you invest the time.
Primarily Meta advertising for ecommerce brands — campaign structure, creative strategy, tracking and measurement, budgeting, scaling, and platform mechanics. Adjacent topics (Google Ads, email, CRO) are considered if they directly impact Meta ads performance and are written by practitioners with a proven track record.
No. NO BS Ads does not publish paid placements, sponsored posts, or brand-paid content. All articles are independent editorial content. Tool mentions appear only when they are genuinely the best solution for a specific reader problem — never for payment. This is non-negotiable.
Yes. Approved contributors get an author bio with a single link to their site or profile. The bio appears at the bottom of the article. There are no additional links to the contributor’s site within the article body — that would compromise editorial independence, which is what makes the content worth publishing in the first place.
Co-created research or data studies, joint YouTube content with complementary practitioners, cross-platform educational series, and tool integrations where the tool genuinely solves a documented reader problem. All partnerships must preserve editorial independence — meaning the content quality and angle are determined by what’s best for the reader, not by the partner’s commercial interests.
3–5 business days. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, it’s a pass. We don’t send rejection emails unless the pitch was strong but just not the right fit right now. If you get a response, it will be specific — either a yes with direction, or a no with a reason.
